Insert words here.  This project began with a conversation with Karl Pepin, a guy whom I have known for years as one of the nicest people you could meet at a coffeeshop or in the streets.

Karl is an expert on urban accessibility in New Haven, conducting extensive research on the subject nearly every day.

He approached Nhv.Org with an interest in starting a blog.  I've configured a series of free Google products so that he can collect and share information using a high-power publishing platform (Blogger) and KML data in Maps.

I hope that this project will help New Haven in the following ways:
  1. To spread awareness about the strengths and weaknesses of New Haven as an accessible city
  2. To make changes for the better towards allowing the city to become more accessible
  3. To teach skills to people with the intent of allowing them to publish important information.
